Dr. Merrill Greene earned a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Ph.D. in religious studies before being called to minister to the First Nations people. He now lives in Fredericton, NB, working as a missionary with the Northern Canada Evangelical Mission in addition to acting as the Director of Kingswood’s Intercultural Studies program.
Dr. Greene is passionate about hands-on learning, and hopes to create a learning environment that creates missionaries, not just missiologists. He also teaches the importance of holding adaptability and theological solidity in tension.
Dr. Greene’s ongoing work with NCEM gives him the opportunity to introduce his students to the field of missions while also continuing to build his own practical knowledge of ministry.
When he isn’t working, Dr. Greene enjoys playing video games, and can be found participating in student-organized Super Smash Bros tournaments whenever he gets the chance. He also enjoys reading, writing, and making memes.
